Jean R is the first Jive Magic mare born and consequently kept as a broodmare by Ryans. She is a magnificent upstanding mare, very much a modern type and sports magnificent state-of-the-art genetics. Jean R is indeed still young with many, many foals still left to come. Her first foal was Rogue Trader R by Regardez Moi and he was a top-priced auction lot fetching $49,500 at auction as a 4-yearold.
The foal Jean R is expecting in four weeks’ time after the auction will be a full brother or sister to Rogue Trader. Jean R is by Jive Magic who has had a career at Grand Prix dressage with Grand Prix wins including the biggest show in Australia being the Sydney CDI competition. The expected foal is by Regardez Moi, the most successful Grand Prix dressage stallion ever in Australia with more than 30 wins to his credit including two times Australian Grand Prix Champion. Down on the bottom line of Jean R’s pedigree is Faleten who is not only a grandmother to Jean R but also to Mystery Whisper who competed at the London 2012 Olympics.
Jean R has made a serious contribution to the Ryans’ breeding program and her fillies are retained in the herd. This has commercial ramifications as Ryans will continue to promote this bloodline. Jean R is a magnificent opportunity for the cutting edge breeding enthusiast.
